I am responding to Dan Q's piece on a pressure cooker for tea not because I'm really into tea, but because I'm trying to make my static site a bit more social.

As an American, I am certainly not any sort of a tea connoisseur. I'm fine with Lipton and plenty of milk. I don't tend to drink a lot of tea either. Coffee is just easier and faster. But, I have always loved the idea of tea. It seems so much more elegant than coffee. When I was in elementary school, I even had a small collection of china tea sets that I bought with my pin money at flea markets around Germany and France.

And, from time to time, I still buy a tea pot that strikes my fancy. But, for some reason, although fika and a cozy cup of tea in the afternoon sounds lovely, it just doesn't happen all that often.
